Important Russian Sterling Serving Dish

Important compartmentalized oval sterling silver dish, the deep well with center dividers and rim with acanthus leaf decoration, Russian, St. Petersburg (Petrograd), dated 1857, bears arms for the Romanov-Holstein-Gottorp and monogram (probably) for Alexander II Nikolaevich, Tsar, 1853-1891 and Marie of Hesse by Rhine. Lead restoration on rim.
