A beautiful and elegant, mid 19th century, French Faience vase later converted to a table lamp. The lamp delicately painted in a soft palette of colors with large loose bouquets of summer flowers, garden insets and a cartouche depicting a reclining nude with a cherub. The lamp of double bulbous octagonal form separated with a thin waist, mounted on a later carved wooden base. New wiring and custom shade with blue and gold lining.
