Fabulous 19th century oil on canvas painting, Of Little Girl with Birds, by Austrian artist Anton Romako (1832-1899), painted in Rome. Signed in the lower right had corner “A Romako, Roma”. Relined, with restorations and new frame. The girl depicted releasing a pair of finches contained by a long string, from a cage.

Measurements: (including the frame): 36”w x 44”h (frame: 2 ¾”w).
