A Magnificent 18th century Italian commode, the rectangular form walnut commode (possibly an ecclesiastical vestment chest from the Lombardy region) with three drawers bearing bronze escutcheon plates and original drawer pulls (one repaired) flanked by narrow decorated pilasters terminating in acanthus carved volutes supporting a rectangular top with molded sides, the whole raised on a steeped base with flamboyant paw and claw feet.

Some repairs and with restorations as consistent with age.
