An Austrian Neoclassical gilt bronze mantel clock from the early 19th century. the case of arched rectangular form decorated with seated winged griffins above a panel depicting a recumbent Venus and Cupid within a flowerhead jasperware border, on marble plinth and rass acorn feet, the circular dial centered by l'enfant guerre, having enamel chapter ring with Roman numerals.
