Pair of Royal Damask Linen Kitchen Towels

Pair of 19th century Damask linen Kitchen Towels, once belonging to H.M. King Frederik VII of Denmark (1808-1863).

Beautiful rococo designs, acanthus leaves, and flowers surround the border, small flowers and foliage decorate the interior. Each towel embroided in one corner with the Kings initials, the Royal crown, dated "1862" and numbered "18".

Measure: 31"w x 31"h

Good condition, one with small hole.
